One of my favourite things about Andor is whenever they have a senate meeting they get around not having Palpatine onscreen by being like “he didn’t bother to show up” and it’s like yeah why would he, he dissolves the senate at the start of New Hope, he can just chill in the palace and spend his time researching sith shit or making fun of Vader cause he knows the senate is gonna be completely obsolete in a few years
