Order during the final years of the Galactic Republic, and trained the capable
Padawan Barriss Offee. A no-nonsense Jedi Master, Luminara fought in Clone Wars
battles such as Geonosis and Kashyyyk, and was thought to have perished during
Order 66. In reality, she’d been taken into Imperial custody and executed, with
holographic transmissions of her captivity used as bait to capture fugitive
Jedi. Together with her Padawan Barriss Offee, Luminara joined the Jedi rescue
effort on Geonosis, engaging Count Dooku’s battle droids in the first conflict
of the Clone Wars. Along with many other Jedi, Luminara led clone troops during
the war against the Separatists. She supervised the transport of Nute Gunray to
Coruscant and took part in the second invasion of Geonosis. Luminara also
continued to train Barriss, though her Padawan would eventually turn against
the Jedi Order. – “The crystal is the heart of the blade. The heart is the
crystal of the Jedi. The Jedi is the crystal of the force. The force is the
blade of the heart. All are intertwined.”
I loved this. Melodramatic? yes. Did it include the NOOOOOOO scream? yes. Does he forget about it five minutes later? yup. Was it still awesome? hell yes.
