He doesn’t know until Lois does an interview with Bruce. Clark pops in for five minutes, because Lois needed some documents, He looks at Bruce, comments “you look very familiar,” and then goes home for the day. He then wakes up at 2am in a cold sweat with the realization that Bruce = Batman.
