Artemis II Lunar Lander

An American-Soviet joint venture in the era of detente, the Artemis II mission signaled a return to the moon nearly a decade after the Apollo missions. The crew included 2 Americans Astronauts and 1 Soviet Cosmonaut. Public interest waned after the initial landing and by the 40th day very little attention was left on the Lunar mission, now collecting rock samples. That is, until the arrival of the Kryptonians exiles, who killed the astronauts and destroyed the lander.
