#that's rough

FedEx: shits on my box, stomps on my box, kicks it, dumps gasoline on it, throws one of my chickens into the back of the van

UPS: whispers at my front door “is anyone home” as quietly as possible before leaving a “we missed you!” note, tries to gaslight me into thinking my address doesn’t exist

USPS: sets my package down gently where it’s not visible from the road, knocks on the door and kisses me directly on the mouth

Is this…shipping discourse?

Amazon once threw a package at my door and then took a photo while it was midair. Not sure where that fits in this schema but I did want to tell y’all about it.

FedEx can suck a bag of flaccid dicks.

I’m disabled, and in my FedEx account delivery instructions it says so, and that my package must be delivered to my front porch. It’s the only way I can reach them, the only way they’re protected from the elements in case of weather.

This is how FedEx left my new bed last week:

That’s 105lb package that was thrown at the back of my driveway, by my trash cans.

It was damaged, of course and Wayfair was kind enough to send me a new one.

Fast forward to yesterday when the replacement was delivered…

Delivery guy backed into my driveway, opened his back gate and KICKED my NEW bed onto the driveway. He then proceeded to get back in his truck and attempt to drive away, only I shouted “Excuse me?” and he turned around. I stood there on my porch, cane in hand, and asked him nicely if he could bring the box to the porch. His response “it’s too heavy”. I replied “I know, I couldn’t get it when you left the other one here last week!” He tried arguing with me and I decided to raise my voice so the neighborhood could hear me: “I’m disabled, it’s in my account that you have to bring it to the porch please.”

He got out of his truck, cursing under his breath. DRAGGED the already damaged box to my door and left it in front of (not on) my porch, turned and walked off.

To add insult to injury, after calling FedEx to report this incident, I was told to “call back” bc the customer service rep’s “system wasn’t working”.

I’ve tried calling several times since and cannot get a human back on the phone. I’ve emailed, messaged online and NO ONE AT FEDEX WILL ANSWER ME.
