“Abra-Ka-Fuck-You!” - Taako

You guys listening to The Adventure Zone yet (AKA #TheZoneCast)?

So I drew my take on Taako. I had this sombrero-inspired wizard hat idea for a while and it just seemed appropriate to use it now.

Taako seemed to have a penchant for stealing loot so I made his mage robes a hodge-podge of clothes that he could’ve taken from other fellow magic-folk. Gave him some charms too, which may or may not have also been gained through ill means. Also, a poncho upside-down looks a bit like a taco shell. Haha!

It’s a lot of look, but didn’t want to go for a typical wizard or high elf design. Haha!

Anyway, it’s a pretty cool/hilarious D&D podcast. And you should go listen to it.

okay so I have some last minute sketchbook work to do, so for my typography sample I decided to use this quote from the adventure zone, because i have a problem 

So I’m really into The Adventure Zone podcast right now! Here are my renditions of Taako, Magnus, and Merle. I did these without looking up any more popular/accepted canon looks, so this is straight off the dome! Hope you like.

this also #confirms my headcanons that taako swans around in delightfully awful grandma shawls. i’m so happy.
