Modular Standing Lantern designed by Malcolm Leland for Architectural Pottery

Malcolm Leland in an American sculptor and ceramicist, and founder of Malcolm Leland Ceramics. His Modular Standing Lantern was designed to be stackable, and to have candles placed inside of its alcoves. It was used, most famously, as Balok’s command tower in the TOS episode, “The Corbomite Maneuver,” but also appears as set dressing for McCoy’s lab in “Operation – Annihilate!”
