Poe: *was the son of a distinguished soldier and an ace pilot, grew up on Yavin 4, presumably surrounded by other former rebel alliance members, was taught piloting by his mother and joined the Resistance after her death, has clearly idolized General Leia and fought hard for the Resistance for years*

Say what you want about tros, but watching Oscar Isaac halfheartedly perform heterosexuality and then conversely put his entire soul into all of his interactions with John Boyega is meta humor at its finest.

I’ve never craved death during a Star Wars movie before, so jot that down.

This was not a movie, this was a 1940s serial in a trench coat masquerading as a movie. This was vignettes. (which yes Star Wars has some of its origins there but you took the wrong lessons from it).

There’s gonna be spoilers below but I am going to say that I enjoyed The Last Jedi and would take it over this any day. The Rise of Sith and Phantom Menace have structure compared to this. Yes I think I’d even take Attack of the Clones over this.
