Taking a little break from all the superheroes to put up something a bit more personal. AMC’s second season of The Terror is a ghost story set against the backdrop of Japanese American internment and every episode has been touching something in my soul. It’s my family history and I’ve never seen it take such a prominent place in mainstream media before.

It also breaks my heart that I can see parallels between then and now; you’d think people would learn from history, but it seems as if we are just repeating it with ever more ferocity.
