Emergency Task Force officers are deployed around a Margueretta St. house in the Bloor-Dufferin Streets. Are after a woman told police last night that a man with a gun threatened to kill her son. Police talked the man into surrendering. The gun was a water pistol. Thee were no charges laid. An alcoholic in his mid-sixties was warned by police officers and released. 1981 [TPL archives]
