Rian actually does his research while JJ and Chris contradict canon material that says Force healing uses the Force AROUND you, not your own life energy and therefore isn’t lethal.

I spent countess hours on wookipedia researching shit for my fanfic so that even the name of a flower or food had a canon name. I researched the different planets and locations I wrote them in. And the actual writers of Star Wars didn’t bother.

In conclusion, JJ and Terrio suck.

Rian Johnson is a true Star Wars fan. If he had directed Ep IX, the ending would have been extremely happy, hopeful and fulfilling

Nowhere have we read that Force healing drains the force user of their own life in the process. So since the Dyad bond was depicted as a “bond which generates life of it’s own” wouldn’t that basically nullify the fact that force healing takes a part of the user’s life away?? By giving what life was taken from them back??

Trying to figure out stupid is really bogging me down. 😣

Here’s another point - if that doppelganger ability works as shown, as Luke Skywalker showed it in TLJ - then what’s to say Palpatine can’t use the same ability to fake a ghost of Luke on Ach-to, which talks Rey into going to Exegol and doing exactly what Palpatine wants her to do?

If Palpatine has been every voice inside Ben Solo’s head, then what’s to say those voices inside Rey’s head as she lay there weren’t the Jedi after all, but Palpatine convincing her to get up and do exactly what he’d asked her to do, in killing him?

How does anyone know that the ritual he was trying to enact requires him to be killed with a lightsaber? How do we know it doesn’t work just as well if she deflects his Force lightning onto him and he dies that way instead?
