Captain L. Isao Telaka: Captain, U.S.S. Lantree. In 2365, while making a supply run to the Darwin Genetic Research Station in the Gagarin System a crew member infected with the Thelusian Flu came into contact with one of the station’s test subjects. The subject’s aggressive immune system attacked the flu but the antibodies had a secondary effect of ageing anyone who wasn’t one of the hosts. The Lantree had left Darwin before they became aware of the situation. When they did, Captain Telaka issued a distress call, which was picked up by the starship Enterprise. Everyone was dead by the time they arrived, the bridge crew’s condition assessed via remote access. A quarantine buoy was left alongside Lantree while Enterprise backtracked the Lantree’s course. After the investigation the Enterprise returned and destroyed the supply ship to prevent further contamination.
