Captain’s Chairs rated by how hard it would be to fuck on them

image

Enterprise-E 7/10, good aesthetic, think it can be managed, the padded armest offer options. very squeaky

image

Enterprise D 3 out of 10, the armrests are a problem now, and any bad move could result in a diplomatic incident.

image

USS Defiant 2/10, too narrow, doesn’t look comfy at all, does it recline? take it over an inactive console i guess

image

USS Voyager 5/10, you know what?, this could work. with a little effort

image

Enterprise A: 4/10 it will topple over at any sign of rough action.

image

Enterprise Refit: 0 out of 10, what the fuck , I am not going down on this HR Giger nightmare of a chair, one false move and I’ll be restrained

image

Original Enterprise 6/10, I know the arms are always an issue, but the way it’s setup there’s so many good alternatives

Enterprise S01-03, 2 out 10, this is one of those gamer chairs that got bolted to a stand. no one wants that.

hey! I've started doing these smaller collages to sell. I'm selling them for significantly less expensive than I typically would list something like this because of the materials I'm using and the shipping costs will be a lot less than I usually have to pay. everything used in these are from old magazine clippings I never used and my scraps from previous projects. it's been an interesting and fun exercise for me to only use stuff already cut up!! anyway, my shop link is in my bio!!

The Three refugee ships escaping the planet are reuses of digital models seen Voyager, but some have roots dating back to DS9 or TNG.

The smaller ship on the bottom left is Qatai’s vessel from Voyager’s “Bliss”, and reused a bunch of times, notably as the Yridian’s vessel in Enterprise’s “Twilight”

The big one at the top is an Antarian starship from Voyager’s “Drive” but is just a cgi remake of the Karemma starship from DS9′s Starship Down.

Finally, the ship in the lower right was a Nu’bari transport from Voyager’s “Flesh and Blood” but again a cgi model that has roots in both DS9 and TNG, going all the way back to Kivas Fajo’s ship in “The Most Toys” (and numerous appearances and modifications since)

Both the teaser and theatrical trailers [for Star Trek First Contact] included footage unique only to them, with some visual effects created specifically for the trailer. Unique shots included the USS Voyager firing phasers at a differently-designed Borg cube. [via memory-alpha]
