basically because of COVID, big networks like CBS have put their entire fall seasons/pilot schedules of primetime programming on hold, and are testing out a new thing where they put shows they already have on streaming platforms into primetime slots.

which means….in a happy turn of events??? One Day At A Time went from being the dark horse Netflix comedy that got BURIED by Netflix’s other originals to now being a primetime sitcom aired on live TV? Millions more people are going to get to watch it! that’s pretty cool!
