not because he doesn’t deserve flack, but because the marvel cinematic universe is a big, nasty, heavily corporate affair. there are so many people who have their hands on these movies and it’s important to realize that one writer is not the reason that they fail to be diverse. right up the corporate ladder are people who don’t care about female superheroes and are invested in whitewashing the cast of every movie they put out.
